Who are we? Well that is a very good question and one that many of us have struggled to work out over the years!

We are a group of 10 – 15 mates varying in age who all enjoy cycling that decided to participate in our very first Sportive event in 2012. We chose to open our Sportive accout with the Scottish Bike Show Sportive 2012 in Loch Lomond. We chose to go easy on ourselves and have chosen the 65 mile route opposed to the 100 mile challenge. Many of us had never cycled 65 miles in a day so it was a huge challenge in itself!

From our first Sportive back in March 2012 we have come on a long way completing several Sportives, beating PB’s and raising money for our chosen charity Beatson Cancer Charity.

In 2014 we took part in several Sportives:

  • Etape Caledonia 81 miles – 11th May
  • Graeme Obree Sportive 77 miles – 2nd August
  • Pedal for Scotland, Glasgow to Edinburgh 110 miles – 7th Sept

In 2015 we plan to raise even more money and participate in even more events. So far we have booked the Etape Caledonia with more events to follow.

Amount Raised so Far (not including gift aid):

  • 2012: £2,661.00
  • 2013: £2,300.35
  • 2014: £4,000.00
  • 2015: £2,500.00
  • 2016: £2,561.86
  • Grand Total: £14,023.21
