It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, been busy at work building a new online shop and migrating old shop from one platform to another but I’ll not bore you with the details!
Although I’ve been busy, I’ve not neglected the task in hand…… the upcoming Drumlanrig Sportive 88 miles and the highlight of the Sporting Calendar for the Whitelee Warriors, the Etape Caledonia.
Exactly a week today four of the Warriors start the double header in Dumfries with the Drumlanrig Sportive, 88 miles. This is a new event for us and we’re looking forward to seeing what it has to offer, apart from the Mennock Pass which we know all too well about! Lol
Gilly, Hugh and Stevie Potter have literally just landed back on British/Scottish soil after smashing the mountains of Mallorca for the past week. Myself, well I’ve been thrashing the streets of EK at 6am with my shorts on! The 6am starts were the result of meeting with Police Scotland who warned me about scaring the women and kids with my legs!
Anyway back to a serious note, the reason I get up at 6am and head out on my bike, fundraising for the wonderful Beatson Cancer Charity.
We have handed over £11,500 in the past 4 years and hope to add to that total this year but need your help to do so. Please dig deep for this wonderful charity. Sadly everyone is affected by cancer these day, directly or indirectly! We’re not asking you to do the 6am starts, leave that to me, all I ask is if you can spare a little change then please do so.
A huge thank you to my mum & dad who’ve just donated £50.00
If you’d like to make a donation you can do so using the link below or by handing it to any member of the team. Thank You in advance.
