Fundraising Smashes Thru £1k

I’m proud to announce that we’ve reached a new mile stone in this years fundraising efforts for the Beatson Cancer Charity, we’ve smashed through the £1k mark! At the time of writing this the total stands at £1,195.00

A huge thank you to all those who’ve supported us and made a donation to this wonderful charity. Our first event of the year, the Etape Caledonia was a very wet and windy affair. Thankfully we all made it back in one piece, albeit a little wet!

Next event on the card is the Tour of the Shire on the 26th July. We’ve opted to go for the longest route, the 101 mile option which offer a fair amount of climbing and will really test the legs and lungs.

It’s the 1st of June today and the summer has arrived, except someone forgot to tell the weather that the summer has arrived! Typical for Scotland, blink and you miss the one day of summer. Not to worry, we won’t let the weather deter us, we’ll fight on and get into shape, not committing to a specific shape, buy we’ll get into some form of shape for the next challenge in the Warriors calendar. So far it’s just myself that’s officially signed up for the event though Stevie Potters, Kevin Lee and Robbie have all shown interest.

  1. £1200 is brilliant, a huge well done to everyone involved. Wishing you all the best for the next challenge on 26 July. Here’s hoping the real summer arrives in time for that one. Good luck, I hope the legs and lungs hold up for the 101 miles. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Donna. Total is rising as we speak!
Hopefully the weather will improve but regardless we’ll continue cycling and raising money for our adopted charity.
