With the season come to an end we decided to get a decent cycle planned for next Saturday, 31st October. Originally I was hoping to do the Braveheart Fundraising Ride but the consensus of the group was to head away and do a ride on our own which wouldn’t cost us an entry fee.
The idea was put out to the group via our new Forum, and the route decided upon was Dukes Pass, the route of our first ever sportive some three years ago, a trip down memory lane if you like. It’s a great wee route coming in at around 48 miles and takes in the challenging climb of Dukes Pass followed by a lovely scenic trip round Loch Katrine.
At the time of posting we have 5 names for this ride:
Should be a great wee day as long as the weather is kind to us. We’ll be stopping for a bite to eat at the cafe halfway round Loch Katrine, so if you’re going then please remember to re-mortgage your home as it’s not cheap!
Anyone else wanting to join us then you’re more than welcome, just let me know.
