With last weekend’s season finale done and dusted it was time to get stuck into the winter training. I was supposed to head out as per the norm on Wed night but Stevie Potter, the only person up for it, had to pull out due to work commitments, well that’s what he said but personally I think everyone say’s they can’t make it then meet up for a pedal without me! My patter must be poor or non-existent.
So with Stevie pulling out and the fog settling down making it a dark and miserable evening, I opted to try Pizza Hut’s new Cheeseburger Pizza. Now this bad boy had come highly recommended by Kev from my work who;’s a fitness instructor nonetheless! So that was it, winter training was postponed and pizza hut was phoned. One large Meat Feat on a Cheeseburger base was now on it’s way to me.
The guilt soon set in when I received a comment on my Facebook page where I’d posted a photo of this culinary delight, from my colleague Anna informing me of the 2,800 calories contained in my night of pleasure! My other colleague Lauren said that 2,800 calories wasn’t that bad when shared with others……. eh yeah….. I shared it with myself….. ooops!
So being riddled with guilt for the past day or so I decided to set the turbo trainer up again last night ready for an early session this morning. With the school’s and nursery’s being off for the holiday weekend I set the alarm for 7am instead of what would needed to have been 6am.
As the alarm sounded I jumped out of bed, not giving myself to think as I would have turned the alarm off and rolled back round if I didn’t get up straight away. I jumped on the turbo and thrashed out a 3LCTV Time Trial Session lubricating the turbo mat with sweat! Boy I’d forgot how much of a workout you get while using these DVD’s! I can highly recommend them and testament to their effectiveness was the weight loss I managed at the start of the year. You can read about my success using the 3LCTV turbo training dvd’s in the blog entitled Miracle Weight Loss Plan.
